God works in mysterious ways...
God blessed Markeita Pruitt with the ability to do hair at an early age. She tried other fields, went to college for Pyschology, and even worked in Accounting, but was never fulfilled. Mrs. Pruitt went through a long period of unemployment, when God placed it on her heart to go to college for Cosmetology. And since that day, she has been blessed beyond belief. She had some obstacles to climb, and some moments she wanted to give up, but if the opportunity was presented to do it all over again, she would. Markeita is very passionate about her work, and love what she does. She believes that this is the reason she has no problem working as hard as she does. Mrs. Pruitt always says "That if I had to choose between doing hair for free or working in another field for money, I'd do this for free". God gave her a vision to provide a place where individuals can come relax, rejuvenate, and be revitalized. In order to fulfill this, they provide a continual Christian atmosphere, soothing music, incentives, and specials.

Markeita Pruitt has been blessed with a husband, Melvin Pruitt Jr., and a support system that is there whenever she needs anything. Her husband/business partner has helped out tremendously and is continuing to keep everything running smoothly. He will be joining Touch of Heaven as a Barber/Facialist/Massage Therapist in the next few months to come. Mr. Pruitt also aspires to a Photographer. So let's be sure to support him, as Mr. Pruitt has been an unseen supporter of this company since the vision was given.
